Fatty
Been pissing about with my scale settings while in hospital (You can do that with Internet connected scales Karl) and see that the setting that fit me is the 2010 version of fat mas calc. This gives values that look right.
It will be interesting to see what the values will be tomorrow. 15.7% fat coming into hospital.
I think I gave the wrong impression of the hospital here. You probably thought parks, paths and cool cultural landmarks. Unfortunately the car park leads directly onto the Roman viaduct. Although it is a fantastic thing to have at the bottom of a run, there is nothing else, no meandering trails through woodland. Nope, they give good care, but it is certainly not a park.

Stay regular
Just had the doctor come through and give me the go ahead to go home tomorrow. One last night here and then I will be free. He also said I had no diet restrictions and should make sure that I did eat some veggies to keep regular and not have any constipation.
In celebration I went out and did a double training lap (24 minutes) and afterwards I went into the hospital shop in search of a sporting magazine. I was hoping for something on sailing or skiing or something a bit dynamic. Amazingly the only magazine they had (other than Lyon Footie club) was Trail magazine. The attendant was amazed that anyone had bought it.
Talking heads has just come on Pandora.com ... Seems to some up my stay in hospital nicly

I can't seem to face up to the facts
I'm tense and nervous and I can't relax
I can't sleep 'cause my bed's on fire
Don't touch me I'm a real live wire

New Training program
It is a tad early to embark on training, but the Doctor (surgeon) said it would be good for me. Well OK, he did not say "Training" he said "Walking". So today I have done 4 repeats: Down through the car park and over to the Roman Aqueduct. For a runner, this might take 30 seconds, for a granny about 5 minutes, for me the round trip takes about 10 minutes. Here is my end point for this out and back course:
4 times today, that is about 30 minutes walk time!
Another part of the training is the nutrition. Today, the hospital gave me my first meal. I have eaten food before, but this was actually a meal that I eat (nearly) all of. Here is the menu
